At York Central Hospital more than 69,000 people went through the doors of our Emergency Department last year. In the summer of 2008, the hospital partially opened the Nick & Rosanne Cortellucci Family Emergency Department. This beautiful new Emergency Department offers: triple the space of our previous Emergency, with spacious treatment areas offering enhanced privacy and confidentiality, shorter wait times, specialized treatment areas and a more welcoming environment for children and the elderly.
