The Department of Paediatrics at York Central Hospital provides medical care for newborns and children under 18 years of age. We are an integral part of the York Central Hospital health care team by supporting other Hospital departments including Labour and Delivery, Emergency and Surgery.

York Central Hospital is proud to have a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, which provides specialized care to premature and critically ill newborns.

York Central's Paediatric Department has been designated a community teaching hospital for Paediatric training for University of Toronto medical students.
