The psychiatrists are involved with all the varied aspects of the Mental Health Program.

  • The Crisis Team who on request from the Emergency Department or family doctors see patients in the Emergency Room.

  • Inpatient services and Day Hospital services.

  • The large multi-focused Adult Outpatient program which includes:

  1. The Urgent Clinic (by referral from the family doctors) for patients needing evaluation within 24-72 hours.

  2. Adult Services for patients needing ongoing psychotherapeutic care (group and one to one counselling)

  3. Psychogeriatric Clinic for elderly patients.

  • Child and Family Services including assessment and treatment for children, teens and their families. The ADHD Clinic and the Anxiety Disorders Clinic are active components.

  • Vocation and Rehabilitation Service ( Day Treatment Program) located off site at Leslie and 16th Avenue.
